Steve Conte is a busy guy; solo artist, singer, songwriter, guitarist, producer and in-demand session & touring musician for hire. He rarely rests - and certainly not on his laurels. His forthcoming album is 1/2 written by XTC's Andy Partridge while his last album, Bronx Cheer was released on Little Steven Van Zandt’s label, Wicked Cool Records in the fall of 2021 to great critical acclaim. That album spawned 5 singles, 3 of which were featured as “Coolest Songs In The World” on the Underground Garage Radio Program. Conte produced videos for 3 of the singles on youtube. Prior to Bronx Cheer, Steve released the single “Gimme Gimme Rockaway” (Wicked Cool, 2017), International Cover-Up, 2016 and The Steve Conte NYC Album, 2014 (Thunderdog Recordings), Steve Conte & the Crazy Truth (Varese Sarabande/Universal Music, 2009), The Contes/ Bleed Together (2003), Crown Jewels/Linoleum (1999), Spitshine (1996), Bootleg Rarities (2020) and Company Of Wolves (Mercury, 1990). Besides a rich solo-career, Conte has been instrumental in helping legendary artists get their groove back. After 6 years, 4 albums & a never-ending World Tour with the infamous New York Dolls, he joined up w/ former Hanoi Rocks front man Michael Monroe as guitarist/songwriter/backing vocalist to release 4 albums of new material. He's also worked w/ Willy DeVille, Peter Wolf, Billy Squier & Paul Simon. As a solo artist, Steve has toured extensively; USA, UK, Holland, Belgium, France, Spain, Italy, Finland & Sweden.
